Arnold and Names

                                          Arnold
"You have the worst name choosing capabilities I have ever seen." Ron Weasley said as he stared at the new family member. Arnold the purple pygmy puff sat on his new perch and tweeted.
        "Really? Because naming your owl Pig was not my idea." Ginny retorted as she fed her new pet. Ron sighed,
         "You named him Pigwidgeon BEFORE I could name him properly."  Ginny rolled her eyes and sat on the couch next to her brother.
         "I was young and naïve back then plus we haven't had a pet since you had your puffskin years ago," Ginny explained. Ron opened his mouth to snap at her but she beat him, "Besides we all knew Percy wouldn't let us name Hermes. Errol was the family owl when I was born. Course I couldn't name him." Ron glared at her,
   "Tell me what are you going to name your children? Arnold is a horrible name for a pet, can't imagine your kids names. Why didn't you name him fluffy or sparkle or something?" Ginny huffed,
      "Mind you I'm not some girly little first year Ronald. Besides sparkle is SO a girl name," Ron coughed and tried not to laugh. "Also the kid's names depend on the father." Ron raised his eyebrows at her,
        "Ginny you've had your name and Harry's down since you were nine at Kingscross. No matter what guy you're dating right now we KNOW you're going marry Harry." Ginny turned and took a deep breath,
       "Lily." Ron stared at his sister confused,
    "What?"  Ginny kept looking away from him,
       "Lily after Harry's mum. No matter who's the father if I have a girl her name will be Lily." Ron made a small 'oh' face and got up.
  "Night Ginny," he paused and looked at the purple puff, "Night Arnold." Arnold twittered and made  small cooing sounds. Ginny turned and smiled at Ron.
                      "Night Sparkle."
